Default GW infested with Chinese

I have nothing against Chinese, in fact, I am an Asian American. However, recently, the ember light camps, ring of fire, abaddon's mouth, and hell's precipice have been literally infested with chinese speaking people everywhere. This really pisses me off because it makes it harder for me to find groups as they spam with gibberish chinese. I am pretty sure they are chinese slaves working for the loser bot- making companies so I ask for Anet to ban all of these people. Thanks.

A Chinese person would not enter an American district and spam "jou shou whoo shin quo wen" or whatever they're spamming. A Chinese person would use Chinese characters. Those, my friend, are not Chinese, but idiots.

Just proves how ignorant they are...basically sticking two fingers up at Anet, making it obvious to everyone.
If i was ArenaNet, i would ban them by IP too.

If you have no idea what they said, don't need to automatically assume they are bots (even though they may be)
make a chinese server then... there is a "Europe" and "America" server. Why not a "Asia" server but only Korean instead? Since chinese players don't understand korean, they have to play on another language server.

I'm Chinese myself but I get extremely annoyed at the fact they're speaking in Chinese in the American servers. Not only that, I know Chinese characters are supported by GW. I'm not confusing them with the Korean characters since I know how to read Chinese myself. However, what they're speaking is basic Chinese and the most simplest terms. Seems to me like they just want attention or to prove some stupid AzN PrYdE (sorry, but I hate AzN PrYdE).

Some, I realized, are bots. The same statements copied and pasted over and over. They hardly mean anything in Chinese, too. Some of them say something about "Hi, I'm here! I'm here! I'm selling!" in Chinese. Granted, if they'd want to sell something, they might as well say it in English as these ARE American servers.

I noticed there's a huge gathering of Chinese in the Ember Camps and the Crystal Desert region. Rather annoying if you ask me.

thanks for getting annoyed... question: where can chinese players speak chinese then? They don't get their own server and maybe they just want to find other chinese players to play with.

I understand chinese and the last time i saw spam messages like that, it was "WTB max gold damage weapons for high price". If messages like that really does piss you people off so much, maybe everyone who spams that in english should be banned as well...

the automatic assumtion that they are bots or slaves... talk about over stereotyping... so every american or european farmer might just be another slave kid playing 24/7 in the basement so his master would give him a few less whips that night? don't come to conculsion so quick on something you know nothing about and base your response on a few sentance you read in a magazine or overheard from a friend.

Korea.

Seriously, they'd probably have better luck finding people who understand them there, since the natural tendency is for players to join whatever servers are geographically closest to them.

There is no chinese server in guildwars and the english version does not allow players to switch to korean districts.

If they bought the korean version the chinese won't understand.

Fact = Those spamming in Chinese are bots... they go out, farm, come back, say some crap, leave and start again.

That's why the Ember Light camp lags so damn much.

If you see this happing, take a screenshot and report to A.net.

yes im on US server as well and lots of other asian countries are playing on US servers as well
did u really think all those HOH matches US always wins are by american?
i know some of them and they are asians

and for those chinese spamming the same sentence in ember light , they are most likely bots cos wat most of wat they are saying is rubbish like *your lying if you are saying your invincible* ect its wierd since everytime i go there theres alsways someone saying the same thing but on different names

This makes little sence. Not all countries are the friendliest in the world with eachother. It would be like saying they should get North Koreans to start playing the game with South Koreans.

Look at the maker of this post; a South Korean. Obviously this is some racial campaing. While it is annoying at times that Chinese players have seemed to have made Ember Light Camp home base, that's no reason to ban people.

When people start speaking Spanish and French in the areana waiting areas are you going to petition for Anet to exile them all to Europe Spanish/French Districts?

maybe I sounded a little too offensive in the last post... but being a frequent gamer in both english and chinese games, I know how they feel.
Most of the chinese spam i see in GW are in traditional chinese which means they are most likely from Hong Kong or Taiwan.... where english is a much more common second language than korean. So naturally they go for the american server.
But seriously, there are probably many other Asian players around (including chinese, japanese, malaysian(sp), vietnam...etc) ... why is Asia represented by Korea? why is only korean (asian wise) allow to play and type in their own language?

I disagree. Many Chinese people speak English as a second language. Comparatively few speak Korean as a second language. Therefore, many those Chinese people who speak English are going to play on the American servers, since they have a better chance of communicating there than on the Korean servers.

Lets just close this topic before it become a all out racial cuss war.
There was no point to this post anyways, and its way too racist in nature.

Really, I think we should be banning racists and not banning people for racists..
